Home > Industry information > News Amazon Web Services Start-Up Challenge: $100,000 in prizes06 October 2008 Developers can enter the 2008 Amazon Web Services Start-Up Challenge, with the potential of winning a US$50 000 cash prize, US$50 000 in service credits and potential investment from Amazon. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for start-ups that leverage AWS to build their infrastructure and business. Entries must be completed online by 10 October 2008. Five finalists will be selected based on the criteria of originality and creativity, likelihood of success, how well a marketplace need is addressed, and the implementation of the AWS infrastructure and/or other paid services.
