Collector buys rare video game for US$17,500

A collector has reportedly purchased a rare video game for US$17,500.

The special edition game of Nintendo World Championships only runs for just over 6 minutes, and comes as a gold cartridge.

The game combines three short segments from other games: Super Mario Bros, Tetris, and Rad Racer.

The game was sold on eBay and was initially listed for US$25,000.
